The flimsy diaphragm is unable to support the weight of the slide in rough going. Every time you hit a bump the slide bounces inside the carb and will never stay fully open. The answer is using carburetor designed for off-road racing and one of the best is the Mikuni round-slide. Our pre-jetted 26mm Mikuni carburetor kit will give you both more power and speed along with easier starting and smoother running. This easy bolt-on kit uses the original intake manifold and includes a new air filter, crankcase vent filter and throttle cable.
